As a guest in our hunting hotel you can hunt in an area of more than 1,200 hectares. The only requirement is a valid hunting license. The hunting area is well navigable and therefore also suitable for hunting vacationers of advanced age.
Experience chamois, roe deer, marmot, red deer and black grouse in the wild. They move skillfully in the mountain world. Discover these fascinating wild animals under the expert guidance of our hunter. He will be happy to take you into the terrain and show you where you can hunt best.

When to take a hunting holiday:
Depending on the time at which you plan your hunting holiday, different animals are released for hunting. Considering the sheer variety of game in the Stubai Valley, you could spend your hunting holiday with us at almost any time of the year.
- Year round: Foxes, polecat, raccoon dog, rackelhahn, wild boar, raccoon
- January: (until 15 January) alpine hare, Eurasian coot, field hares, badgers, jays, magpies, ravens, mallard ducks
- February: (until 15 February) Badgers
- March /April: see year round
- May: Wood grouse (in odd years) from 1 May to 15 May, black grouse from 10 May to 31 May
- June: Male roe deer, class I, II and III, female roe deer and fawns; female red deer, red deer calves and prickets
- July: Ravens, male roe deer, class I, II and III, female roe deer and fawns; female red deer, red deer calves and prockets, from 15 July badgers
- August: Badgers, chamois game, raven, mouflon, male roe deer, class I, II and III, female roe deer and fawns; wood pigeons, female red deer, red deer calves and prickets, male red deer, class I, II and III, stone deer, marmots from 15 August

Hunting season in Tyrol
Red deer, wild boar and snow grouse
To protect the game population, hunters must respect certain hunting timeframes. The 1,200 ha hunting ground is home to red deer, marmots and badgers, to name a few, which can only be hunted in late summer and autumn. Wood grouse can only be hunted 15 days per year and only odd years.

Trophies from hunting holidays in the Stubai Valley
The hunting trips cost a small fee, as well as the mandatory hunting license. You can get your license here with us. Please send us a copy of your valid hunting license before arrival and we'll take care of the details.
Beautiful trophies remind us of successful hunting days. The prices for the hunted game range from €150 to €1.800. Hides and antlers are also available at the reception desk.
